Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award
Kelsea Kiene Pi Sigma Epsilon
Kelsea Kiene is a passionate, people-first professional whose career and volunteer service are rooted in empowering others to grow and succeed. A graduate of the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Professional Sales and Marketing, Kelsea has built a dynamic career in sales, marketing, brand leadership, and innovation across multiple industries. Today, she serves as the Global Sales Training Manager for the Automotive Aftermarket Division at 3M Commercial Center, where she leads global training strategies that help teams strengthen their skills and connect with purpose.
Her professional accomplishments are matched only by her deep commitment to Pi Sigma Epsilon. Kelsea has been a dedicated volunteer for over a decade, contributing more than 1,000 hours to the organization. In the past year alone, she has logged over 75 hours, participating in 20 to 30 meetings ranging from national council discussions and committee planning to one-on-one mentorship calls with students. Her presence is constant, her engagement unwavering—not for recognition, but because she genuinely believes in the mission and the people of PSE.
As National President, Kelsea led with heart, intention, and strength. She introduced stronger standards and clearer expectations, including a formalized code of conduct that reshaped the culture of accountability within the organization. Her leadership fostered an environment where members feel supported, leaders feel empowered, and decisions reflect shared values. She has also been a featured speaker at numerous Fall Conferences and National Conventions, inspiring students with her insights, humor, and authenticity. Her influence extends to the Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon®, where she served as a buyer and played a key role in scaling the competition into one of the most impactful experiences in collegiate sales education—now engaging hundreds of students annually and awarding over $5,000 in prizes.
Kelsea’s legacy, however, is not defined by hours logged or titles held. It’s defined by the way she makes people feel. She leads without ego, mentors without judgment, and inspires without trying to impress. Students know her as someone who listens, understands, and truly sees them. She celebrates their wins, helps them navigate uncertainty, and encourages them to lead with authenticity. For many, she is the reason they stayed involved in PSE or believed in themselves enough to take on leadership roles of their own.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Kelsea brings the same energy and drive to her personal pursuits. She is a competitive skydiver, currently training with a 4-way team set to compete at Nationals this fall. That fearlessness and trust in her team are qualities she carries into every room, every meeting, and every conversation—whether she’s 13,000 feet in the air or sitting across from a student who needs encouragement.
Kelsea Kiene is dedicated, inspirational, and fearless. She gives Pi Sigma Epsilon her time, her voice, her energy, and her heart. Her leadership has shaped the organization for the better, and her impact will be felt long after her term ends. The love she has for PSE is unmistakable, and the love PSE has for her is just as strong. It is with deep pride and gratitude that we recognize Kelsea Kiene as our Outstanding Volunteer of the Year.
