Session I Matt Mattson, Phired Up | Growing PFA Chapters in 2021 and Beyond

Sponsored by Visit Hamilton County

The marketing, recruitment, and retention landscape is changing quickly. The fundamentals of chapter growth remain the same, but the tactics and adaptations to a rapidly changing world require all us to stay on top of our game. And let's be honest, many of our chapters aren't great at the fundamentals to begin with. Matt Mattson, President & Co-Founder of Phired Up & TechniPhi, will provide an update from the overall sorority/fraternity industry's front lines of growth, and most importantly will engage in a Q&A time with PFA leaders to help clarify growth-focused plans for this year and beyond. Come with your marketing, recruitment, and retention questions ready.

Matt Mattson

Matt Mattson is the co-founder and President of Phired Up, TechniPhi, The Social Excellence Project and other brands. He is an entrepreneur, an author, a speaker, a podcast host, and proud fraternity man, a father, a husband, a Cubs fan, and a trail runner.

Matt says he believes he was put on earth to help people gather together to discuss the important things of life. His two books, his podcast called “The People People Podcast,” and his two TEDx talks all speak to that life purpose.  But his work as an educator and strategist at Phired Up has always been his first passion.

Phired Up & TechniPhi helps fraternities and sororities grow. They teach marketing, recruitment and retention. They provide growth-related technology. And since 2002 this company, that Matt started with his fraternity brother, has been celebrating and uplifting fraternities and sororities (of all sorts).

Matt has degrees in Advertising and Education. He wants you to enjoy pictures of his trail running on Instagram. And he lives in Colorado with his wife, and his two little girls.
